Is Network Marketing Business Saturated?

Each year I heard of more and more Network Marketing companies operating in this industry. Unlike what you maybe thinking, this industry is not saturated, actually far from it. The challenge is that you have to find new ways to beat the competition in trying to find your new recruits and customers.
When most people hear the term ‘network marketing’ including myself, have ‘defense shield’ as we think that it is harder than ever to make money from this home based business. You have probably heard of the truth that 95% of people who get into Network Marketing have no prior sales and marketing experience which leads to enormous difficulties in recruiting successfully. They had the desire to succeed, but they went about it the wrong way, driving people away from their products or companies rather than pulling them in.
I promise to suggest some solutions to the problem later in the article. This is a fundamental shift in the way we do business.
Does network marketing work? Yes, and there are many great marketing techniques you can use to help achieve success online.
Most of us approached our family members and friends when we just get started. That is how the ‘old school’ network marketers taught us to make a list of 100-200 people of our warm market. But we realised that they have been bombarded by other family members and friends to join them on the hose road to financial and time freedom.
The problem is that you are chasing people that are no longer qualified as your customers and business builders. They either not interested in what you have to sell or you are talking to people whose understanding of the way network marketing should be done in today’s modern world is outdated, has not yet been upgraded! . Please understand the traditional network marketing ways still work but to a much smaller extent that it used to. It is harder to do it the old way that it has been. The question is how much energy you are willing to spend in trying to resist this widing to spend in trying to resist this new wave? The internet is ready and able to do a lot of the world with you, why not make use of an array of foods available that will give you leverage the marketing power of the internet.
The concept of ‘buying leads’ when that warm market runs out then arises. However, this has its own challenged. Why?
Firstly because most people did not want to sit at home to make 50-100 calls to strangers on the phone each day. At first, my experience was the leads program was great! Now I didn’t have to go out and look for people. At last I have people to call and talk with. That worked well with my other commitments since I could only work on my home based business part time. As soon as I got home, I have leads on my computer waiting for me to pursue high touch on my prospects. But I still have to use ‘sharing information’ tactic when presenting the business opportunity to new people. [Along the years, MLM and Network Marketing is an industry in many ways is ‘embarrassed’ of itself.]
Most people feared rejection. You get even more rejections on making cold calls because people don’t know you and could not trust you. This has even a lower rate of success to present opportunities to people whom you don’t know well. The key to it is you must be able to connect with them in your first and follow up approaches. If you are not able to do it that, you have lost a customer. This is different skill for beginners to learn all at once.
Secondly most people are not disciplined to consistently pick up the phone and call hundreds per day. It appears hard for people to commit to the time and effort it takes to build a successful Network marketing business.
Thirdly, the trick is to buy the good leads. Even then, most lead generation companies sell their leads many times over. Exclusive leads are costly and have no guarantee that the leads are looking for what you have to offer. You can also learn to generate your own endless leads. This is one of the most important skill to have in marketing. It requires some knowledge in copywriting.
