Attraction Marketing

There are three very important elements you need to have in place to make your “Attraction Marketing” model to work when you begin a process of generating leads, attracting prospects and pre-selling these prospects.
Start with setting up your “Web of Content.” This is an integral part of this process, because it is the prospects first point of contact with you through the different forms of content you’ve created throughout the web. This material can come in many forms; video, articles, press releases, squidoo and hub pages, ezine ads, forum posts, and tons and tons of other types available to you. Many of these locations even allow you to create your content with little cost and even less hassle. You can create this “point of contact” material even if you are brand new to the game. Once you’ve set it up, it’s there forever literally “waiting like bait for a fish”.
This is the step where you first start using what you’ve learned about your target market, which I’ve discussed in a previous article, “knowing your target market.” When creating your content it is important that you start by “giving the prospect something without selling them something.” This establishes a certain amount of trust and starts to build your value to these prospects.
This leads us to the next element in this process, getting the prospects permission to communicate with them. This takes place when the prospect finds one of the many points in your “web of content” (video, article, ezine ad, etc.) and follows your link to your lead capture pages. Many people new to network marketing will start by using the capture pages provided to them by whatever system they have joined. You don’t have to create your own capture pages, but it can be more powerful to do so, because it helps you to brand yourself so that you can set yourself apart from the crowd.
Once they have reached these landing pages they are provided with even more evidence of your value, through your copy and/or videos. Prospects will then fill out the lead capture forms, giving you permission to communicate with them further, and now you will have another prospect added to your list. But these aren’t just any ‘run of the mill’ leads, they’ve already decided that you provide some sort of value making them excellent prospects.
Now that the lines of communication are open, you want to continue with the ‘give before you receive’ principle of dispensing additional value in order to draw the prospect close to you and what you are offering. Building this relationship is the way network marketers, using “attraction marketing” principles, are able to sell to prospects without having to ‘chase them.’
The first two components in this process lay the groundwork for our next piece to the puzzle. This is where you continue to offer value until you earn the privilege to place your ‘offers’ in front of your prospects. This is done through a series of auto-responder emails and broadcast emails (emails you will send manually to your list). It’s important to keep in mind, throughout this email campaign to keep it light and be yourself. You want to continue to build your value as a leader and not come off as a ’salesman.’ After you have shown these prospects that you can contribute to their success and they see you as a valuable asset to their business future, then and only then should you present your primary business offer to them. By this point the prospects who are serious about becoming a network marketer will trust that your business is the right vehicle for them to achieve their goals and gladly join your team.
Your auto-responder email series also provides you with an opportunity to incorporate any of your affiliate programs that correspond with the content of your emails, giving you the ability to ‘monetize’ these prospects and profit from them several times over. You can also integrate your affiliate products into your ‘web of content’ to generate cash flow and leads. Monetization is a very important aspect of network marketing, because 95% of the prospects coming through your system are not going to join your primary MLM program. Marketing your affiliate products such as e-books, tools, video training series and etc allows you to profit from this large group of prospects even if they don’t join your business. It’s very important that these products continue to provide added value and fill the needs of your prospects. Applying this strategy helps you generate cash flow, erasing your expenses so you can stay afloat and continue to build your long term residual income programs.
