The Magic Formula for Success – Part 1

Overview: The Magic Formula for Success consists of 4 parts which are:

•           Right Place

•           Right Time

•           Right Business

•           Massive Action

Today, I am only going to talk about the Right Place

The first step of the Magic Formula for Success behind every fortune made in this world is that you must be in the Right Place at the Right Time.

If you get this strategic factor correct, you are positioned to ride a boom in an industry, leaving you with only one thing to do and that is to acquire the Leadership and Marketing skills you need to build your business. You build your personal asset which is ‘YOU Incorporated’ through a variety of trainings till you are competent.

A rapidly growing industry already creates those opportunities for you behind the scenes and you can have an above-average chance to make extra ordinary incomes and wealth.

Without this rapid growth you will get the normal policies and stress of a tedious industry.

So, for a life of Excitement and Above-Average Income – You must join a HIGH Growth industry (Right Place) at the Right Time.

For Network Marketing to be a major growth industry of the future it needs to be driven by Primary Trends (aka Revolutions). The primary trends are:

A.        What makes people happy?

B.         How do we make money?

C.        How do companies sell?

D.        How do people buy?

I will briefly explain what is happening in each of the areas above.

A. What makes people happy?

1.  What’s important in life?

2.  Are you happy with your income?

3.  Are you happy with your home?

4.  Are you happy with your relationships?

5.  Are you happy with your security?

6.  Are you happy with yourself?

These questions open the flood gates to what people really think and feel revealing their inner-most concerns and desires. The fact is most people are unhappy with their life. Feeling unfulfilled is a major trend and this leads to the coming of the Lifestyle Revolution.

Network Marketing is in front of the Lifestyle Revolution. You work when you like, where you like, as much as you like. It is completely flexible and works around you. Some people are comfortable with what they make, others want to make a lot from this industry. Nevertheless it is all based on you making other people successful, whilst encouraging you to work on your own personal development.
B. How do we make money?

The Job Paradigm is that you think that making money is based on having a ‘good job’. This is now not such a  good view of making money because the world of work has changed and many jobs are under threat.

It is better to have an Income Paradigm. Instead of your focus being on a job, you need to look for opportunities to make an income – even if it can give you a small passive income to begin with while you are still working on a job. Unfortunately for most of us, getting big cheques week in week out in a short period of time in a business opportunity is beyond our reach. Thus hanging on to a job while you are working on the extra income can still give you happiness.

Are you a Dumb Frog?

They say, if you drop a frog into a pot of hot water, it’ll hop right out. (smart frog).

However, if you put the frog into a pot of cold water first, then by applying heat slowly to bring the water to boil, the frog will happily stay there until it dies. (Dumb frog)

We are in the Information Age of new technology and global markets. These twin forces have changed the world forever. As communication gets faster, so does the change. Millions of people are forced to look at viable ways to make money. Self-employment is becoming a trend.

Most people who are looking to self-employment for an income do not have the money, knowledge, skills or confidence to succeed owning their own business. Many try and fail. It is not surprising to hear that 80% of new business ventures fail within the first 2 years.

Network Marketing is the only industry that offers a ‘People Franchise’.  

People need a proven business system where they can work on their own yet with others in teams. They want a business where there is little capital investment involved and very low risk. A business where they are helped and supported by likeminded people as they learn and develop their livelihood. A business that does not discriminate on the basis of age, health, location, race, sex, experience skills or education. A franchise that anyone who is teachable can takeover, where everyone has a chance of making money related to the time and effort they expend.

C. How do companies sell?

This is the age of Direct Shopping and this fuels the growth of Network Marketing. It used to be in the past, companies focus on manufacturing. However, high technology, low wage costs and huge factories led by China, for example, have reduced the cost of making products dramatically.  Now companies look at their distribution costs.

We have endless choices of products so competition in the consumer market is based on who can excite the consumer either through commodity selling in supermarkets, chain stores and product warehouses or through story-telling (that is explaining the value of your products in an inspiring way).

Network marketing business is designed to harness the power of inspiring communication (story telling). This Direct Shopping Revolution bypassing the retailer altogether, no middlemen, no stops along the way, brings goods directly from producer to you

This concept remains the same for the past 30 to 50 years. However, the fundamentals of the Direct Sales business model are changing. Thanks to the Internet. Network Marketing is king. No shop, website or catalogue will ever come close to an individual enthusiastically presenting a business or a product directly to another person.

D. How do people buy?

Every day, you may be exposed to tons of advertisements. There is a product for every need, desire and want. Not just one product but a multitude of options, varieties and choices. Lots of choices do not make decision making easier. It creates the greatest problem for consumers today – CONFUSION.

Consumers want a ‘trusted’ shopping experience. They want clear and accurate information. They want ‘trusted’ recommendations. They want inspiring products, packaging and a shopping experience. Network Marketing is the best marketing channel to deliver this consumer desire.

So the big picture of being in the Right Place is that everyone wins. The customers, the manufacturers and the distributors win.  It is a method of distribution that offers the average person the opportunity of ‘the right place’ to be in for people looking for an income.
